UK Trips in 2018!!

Interesting aircraft from trips around the UK in 2018!

Humberside Airport and Doncaster Airport Friday 16th February.

Had a few hours out today, mainly for a certain Nigerian Embraer ER145 that arrived at Humberside the day before, while also popping into Doncaster for the French Xingu and the rare Ryanair 737-700 on the way back home. Cheers to Rich Bowater for doing the driving and company!

Humberside Airport (11.10am - 12.10pm) Obviously the main reason for the visit was for the Bristow Nigerian Embraer ERJ145 5N-BSO which arrived from Badajoz yesterday afternoon. Not much else went in the box apart from the two stored ex Brindabella Airlines BAe Jetstream 41's which have now been moved to a more photogenic place for a shot..  with VH-XNF being the best!

Doncaster Airport (12.40pm - 14.00pm)  So...  after catching the rare Ryanair Boeing 737-700 EI-SEV on its last touch and go as (RYR100) before departing back to East Midlands, we headed round to the terminal/GA side with several going in the box, mostly based stuff, but still worthy of a shot or two..  Firstly was the very impressive Boeing 727-200's of 2Excel with only G-OSRB getting worked. Next was Ce525 CitationJet M2 N902MZ in for maintenance no doubt with Textron having arrived on the 11th February, and lastly another reason for visiting was to catch the departure of the French Air Force EMB121 Xingu 084 which routed from and to Avord Air Base as (CTM1726).

 Doncaster Airport Saturday 24th March.

With no less than three Antonov AN12s arriving last night, it had to be a blast down and hope they all stopped in, unfortunately one left just before midnight, and the weather was awful, but two out of three isn't bad!!

Doncaster Airport (09.30am - 13.40pm)  Of the two Antonov AN12s that were still in... Cavok Air AN12 UR-CNN arrived lastnight from Gothenburg as (CVK7026) and departed to Leipzig as (CVK7027), while sister ship, which also arrived lastnight from Gothenburg as (VIZ103) was UR-CCP of Aerovis Airlines, and was due out to Liege as (VIZ101F) on the 30th, others worth a mention were the semi based 2Excel/TAG Aviation Boeing 737-300 G-TGPG which arrived from Cork as (BRO37A) on March 21st, G-FJET Ce550 Citation II which routed from and to Luton as (LNX34FJ), and lastly over at Textron for maintenance were, Ce525 Citationjet M2 G-CMTO arrived from Chester/Broughton 19/12/2017, and G-JJET Ce510 Citation Mustang which arrived from Blackpool 01/02/2018.

A blast down south for the CHOGM 2018 meeting 14th/15th April.
