Fishburn (Morgansfield) Airfield Friday 5th February 2016
A couple of new residents arrived here midweek for the recently formed Aircraft Museum at Fishburn, the old De Havilland London Colney resident Dove D-IFSB and an ex Swiss A/F Vampire, which i believe they got from Duxford?? anyway the one that interested me was the Dove, so thought id try and get some shots of it before it got dropped off the low loader and put back together.. luck would have it though as just as i pulled up they were just putting the straps on it to give the Dove possibly its last short flight!! After speaking to a couple of guys, they told me they hoped to get it back up to taxi standards by the end of June/early July while also giving the Dove a new lick of paint but staying in the old Calibration colours from the pervious owner,... so best of luck lads with the project....

A quick visit to see how the Dove D-IFSB is looking, now that is been put back together and a new coat of paint, 'must admit looking very nice! not much else in as it was quite windy, but in one of the hangers was resident Vans RV-6 EI-EWY. Then off to Sunderland Museum to see the Trident...
Bagby Airfield Fly Inn 4th May 2019
Not much happening today due to the gusty crosswinds... what was in though, 2-SNOW PA46T Malibu routed from Liverpool to Chester Hawarden with VIPs for the local Thirsk races, also on a horse related flight was G-JAFS PA32R Saratoga taking some Jockeys to Newmarket, while the rest of interest to me were the residents or on maintenance, which included newly arrived resident last night from across the pond Pilatus PC12 N359ST, routing from Rock Hill (South Carolina)-Doylestown-Goose Bay-Bangor-Narsarsuaq-Reykavik-Wick-Bagby.

Nice newish resident Kodiak N133KQ arrived from Elstree 20th December, whilst another turboprop resident, G-GEFF Pilatus PC12 departed to Perth via Peterlee, arriving back 2 hours later. Smart Pa34 Seneca G-TRUU departed to Leeds East for some training, while PA32 Saratoga G-JAFS, remains of another PA32 Saratoga N88NA, G-SIMY PA32 Cherokee 6, and lastly N246FS Cirrus SR20 were of interest to me...
